2.1 What data is collected?

We process the following data in particular:

  • Personal details (e.g. surname, first name, date of birth, address, telephone number, e-mail address).
  • Data required for the fulfilment of notarial services (e.g. contents of deeds, contract documents, proof of identity).

Without this data, we are generally unable to enter into or maintain a customer relationship. It is possible that we process data that has not been collected directly from you, but originates from third parties, publicly accessible sources or other data subjects.

2.2 For what purpose and on what legal basis is this data processed?

Data processing is carried out for the following purposes:

  • Provision of notarial services.
  • Fulfilment of legal documentation and retention obligations.
  • Ensuring IT security and system stability when using the website.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b (fulfilment of contract), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c (legal obligation) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).

  • to obtain information about the processed personal data and the categories of personal data processed, the purposes of processing, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the intention to transfer data to a third country or an international organisation, including suitable guarantees, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of appeal, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on its details
  • to request the correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data that is incorrect or is not processed in accordance with the law,
  • to request us to restrict the processing of your personal data, 
  • under certain circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data or to withdraw the consent previously given for the processing,
  • to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request the transmission to another controller,
  • to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the calling computer.

The following data is collected:

  • Information about the browser type and version used
  • Operating system of the user
  • Internet service provider of the user
  • IP address of the user
  • Date and time of access
  • Website of origin

The last three types of data are only stored for an overview, so that it is not possible to assign IP addresses to 
the originating website or the time. It is only possible to determine from which Internet pages and at what time most accesses occur.

No personal data is analysed and no data is passed on to third parties.

We store this information in accordance with legal regulations. The processing takes place
for reasons of data security in order to ensure the stability and operational security of our system.

8.5 Tools: Use of OpenStreetMap

We use a map section from OpenStreetMap on our website to show you how to find us. OpenStreetMap is an open source mapping tool. Legal basis for the use of the aforementioned tool on Art. 6 para. 1 let. f GDPR: data processing is carried out to improve the user-friendliness of our website.
